Summer party holidays 2027: when to go and where

Summer 2027 is the time to start planning a group trip. This guide covers the best months for each destination, the events that shape the calendar and how far ahead to book. Dates for many events are still to be announced, so we mark what is confirmed.

Month by month

May: early-season sun, lower prices, Ibiza openings and Rong Open Air in Malta (provisional dates).
June: warm and lively, with good value in Zante, Ayia Napa and Malta.
July: peak heat and big festivals in Croatia, including Ultra Europe and Hideout (dates listed, confirm with organisers).
August: the busiest and most expensive month for most destinations.
September: warm sea, fewer crowds, and Ibiza closing parties.
October: end-of-season events such as Defected Malta, when 2027 dates are announced.

Booking windows

For groups, booking several months ahead gives the best choice of accommodation. Festival weeks and school holiday periods fill earliest. Avoid non-refundable tickets until organisers confirm dates.
